The bible said—“Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” Exodus:3:16-17
“And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.” Revelation:4:4
Beloved please God used Moses and the elders of Israel to deliver the children of Israel from the land of affliction and bondage which is the land of Egypt. God is still using Elders in the Kingdom of God where twenty four elders are sitting before God and praising and worshipping God continually. Please the role of elders in the community and in nations is very very important and very special to God, hence our own God used the Izombe Community of Imo State of Nigeria to tell the Community and the Nations of the World to cherish old people of the land, nourish them and sustain them throughout the remaining days of their life to enable God bless the community and nations for their obedience.
Beloved please the message: “The Bible And The Elders” is a broad topic with many scriptures from Genesis to Revelation of the Holy Bible but we will look at few with short commentary.

And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.” Exodus:3:16-18
“And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people. And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.” Exodus:4:29-31
The bible said—“Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.” Exodus:12:21-22
Beloved please our God is a God who acts and speaks. Please one of the most convincing ways to tell others about Him is to describe what God has done and how He has spoken to His people, and for you to do this you must use the stories of people you know or the stories of people in the Holy Bible. Please God knows the future so any believer can trust his or her future to God because God already knows what is going to happened.
Beloved please see the important aspect of this message: Great Blessing of God! “Unto a land flowing with Milk and Honey” Exodus 3:17 = Please for us to have this kind of blessing of God we need the blood which is the blood of Jesus Christ. See Hebrew 12:24 =
Beloved please this kind of expression, flowing with milk and honey is a poetic word picture expressing the beauty and the productivity of the promised land. Please the promised land was very important and so great which made Moses the servant of God and the elders of Israel to work very hard through the power of God and the Lord Jesus Christ for the children of Israel to enter the promised land, the land flowing with milk and honey which is the great blessing of God and that is the blessing of God that is upon the Royal father, His Royal Highness, Eze Chijioke Collins Egwuagu and the executive council and the Izombe Community of Imo State through the power of Jesus Christ, because: 1. They had the interest of the old people at heart. 2. They showed the love of God upon the old people in the community. 3. The monthly package of Jesus gift (salary) for the nourishment of the old people throughout the remaining days of their life. Glory be to God. Amen.
The bible said—“And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.” Luke:10:37 = Please read Luke 10:27-37 for more understanding.
The Great Provision = The bible said—“And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.” Exodus:17:5-6
Beloved please that is great provision from God. The Water of life! That is the good things of life that God has made available for every one of us but some people are very weak in the society most especially the old people that most communities and government of nations are not interested in their condition and plight. Please God used the Izombe Community to tell the nations of the world to cherish them, nourish them and love them unconditionally.
The bible said—“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts:20:35
The Power Of God = The bible said—“And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.” Numbers:11:25-26
Beloved please that is great power! Great power of God, the power to do great things, the power to do exploit for God and achieve great things through the power of Jesus Christ. Please that is the great power of God upon Moses the servant of God whom God our heavenly Father took the spirit that was upon Moses the servant of God and put it upon the seventy elders of Israel for their spiritual empowerment that energized the children of Israel and made them enter the promised land and inherit the land flowing with milk and honey. The spirit of God is in every leader for great responsibility and great achievements whereof the spirit of God moved the Royal father, His Royal Highness, Eze Chijioke Collins Egwuagu of Izombe community to put smiles on the faces of the old people of Izombe Community with special monthly Jesus gift (Salary) and God shall surely remember him for good. Amen.
The Law Of God = The bible said—“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel. And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:” Deuteronomy:31:8-12
Beloved please the law of God is the Holy Bible which must be in the hearts and minds of everyone in the community and nations of the world for us to fulfill God’s purpose and will in our lives. Please this process must begin from childhood and we must make the teaching of God’s word to our children one of our top priorities to show our young ones how to follow God in all life’s situations. See Proverbs 22:6 =
The bible said—“And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?” Deuteronomy:10:12-13
THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP OF GOD =
The bible said—“And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. ….. The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation:4:4,10-11
Beloved who are these twenty four elders? Please the twenty four elders in this vision probably represent all the redeemed of the God for all time both before and after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Please they symbolize all those, both Jews and Gentiles which means the believers and unbelievers who are now part of the family of God. Glory be to God. Alleluia! Amen. Please the twenty four elders shows us that all the redeemed of the Lord are worshipping Him. Jesus friend, please the point of this Chapter is summed up in this verse: all creatures in heaven and in earth will praise and honour God because He is the creator and sustainer of everything.

Beloved please only Jesus Christ is worthy to open the scroll which is the events of history. Please Jesus Christ holds the future, Jesus Christ is in control and Jesus Christ alone is worthy to set in motion the events of the last days of history where we will all come before Christ to give account of our good deed on earth. Please the Izombe community has revealed the mind of God through their special gift to God, the Jesus gift of monthly salary for the old people of Izombe community to sustain them throughout the remaining days of their lives. God has blessed the Izombe community exceedingly for their good deed. God shall surely remember them for good for their good deed. In Jesus name. Amen. The bible said—“And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.” Revelation:19:5
Beloved in Christ, please praise the Lord, for our God is worthy to be praised and worshipped. Alleluia! Amen. Please the Izombe community and all the families of the earth arise and lift up holy hands and praise and worship our Lord and our God.
