THE HIDDEN TREASURE

The bible said—“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.” Matthew:13:44 (KJV))

 

The hidden treasure is a story told by Jesus Christ to tell us about the Kingdom of God. Because we all love stories so Jesus used wonderful stories to describe the importance and how wonderful the Kingdom of God is so that we will be eager and increase our desire to inherit the Kingdom prepared for us from the foundation of the world.

The treasure is Jesus Christ himself. The field is the gospel. The man is you and I which is the believers and unbelievers.

 

The man found a treasure hid in the field and he hides it again to show how important the treasure is to man. Jesus Christ is the most valuable treasure a person can possess.

 

The Bible said—“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians:3:8 (KJV)

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts:4:12 (KJV)

 

The man did not go to borrow money to buy the field, but went to sell all that he has to buy the field where the treasure is hidden so as to possess all. Jesus Christ is the true treasure, in him there is an abundance of all that which is rich and useful, and will be a portion for us in all fullness. Treasure of wisdom and knowledge, of righteousness, peace and grace and love, these and many more are laid up for us in Christ Jesus, and if we have an interest in him and make him our Lord and Saviour, they are all our own.

 

The Bible said—“And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John:1:16 (KJV)

 

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved” Ephesians:1:6 (KJV)

 

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” 1st Corinthians:1:30.(KJV)

 

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” 1St Corinthians:3:11 (KJV)

 

The field is the gospel where the treasure is hid, which means Jesus is hid in the gospel which is the Bible that we have and the Bible is the old and new testament, for you to discover Jesus Christ you need to dig deep into the gospel to really discover the truth and new meaning in the word of God and no part of the scripture is useless, all scriptures are useful and are for our spiritual upliftment and our growth. There is no one that can learn a trade in one day and there is no university degree that is obtained in one month, in fact, you really need to work hard for so many years to learn a trade or obtain a university degree, so it is with the treasure of Christ.

A person has to dig into the gospel and dig deep to find the treasure of the gospel. A person who has really tasted and learned the value of Christ hides the treasure in his heart. He seeks and seeks to lay hold on the gospel, he does not let the gospel go off his heart. He seeks and resolves to possess the treasure for life.

 

The Bible said—“That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:” Acts:17:27 (KJV )

 

“But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.” Deuteronomy:4:29 (KJV)

 

“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger” Zephaniah:2:3 (KJV)

“For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:” Amos:5:4 (KJV)

 

Jesus Christ is the word of God and He is the Kingdom of Heaven. For you to have Jesus Christ in your life you must be ready to forsake all you have and repent of all your sins and come to Him so that He will be your Lord and Saviour. It is only in the gospel that you will discover the hidden treasure which is Jesus Christ and if you don’t dig deep in the gospel it will be very difficult for you to discover the treasure of salvation and redemption which Jesus Christ has made available for us through His death and resurrection and the person must be ready to present himself as a living sacrifice unto Christ.

 

The Bible said—“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts:2:38 (KJV)

 

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah:55:7 (KJV)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans:12:1 (KJV)

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans:12:2 (KJV)

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2nd Chronicles:7:14 (KJV)n

 

Jesus Christ is the treasure in the gospel that we have and we don’t need to go to Heaven before we have Him but Christ is in the word near us or the Bible we have and when we have Him we will experience full completeness, abundant of life and also the fruit of the Spirit.

 

The Bible said —“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John:10:10 (KJV)

 

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,. :23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians:5:22-23 (KJV)

 

The treasure can only be found by those who live a Holy and faithful life so they are qualified to purchase the field where the treasure is hid. People with unrighteousness in their life, those who are still living in sin, those who do not have any relationship with God, in fact, those who do not have Jesus Christ in their life will not discover the treasure and will not be able to purchase the field where the treasure is hid because unrighteousness is sin and it separates us from God.

 

The Bible said—“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers. 30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,. 31.Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:. 32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans:1:29-32 (KJV)

 

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies. 21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV)

 

Brethren, please come to Jesus Christ today with all your heart and with all your soul. Jesus Christ is the Bible you have near you and all the scriptures are there to give you the fullness of joy and the abundant of life that you need as a child of God but you only need to read, study, and meditate on the Word of God and obey the word of God. So Repent now for the Kingdom of God is at Hand.  Let Jesus be in your life Continually.

FASTING

The Bible said —“Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;. 18. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.” Matthew:6:16-18 (KJV)

Fasting is a spiritual exercise that we embark on as children of God. It is a time that we discipline our flesh in order to have a very close spiritual relationship with our heavenly Father and put our request before him so as to get immediate answer to our prayers.

Fasting has two dimensions, the first is personal fasting and the other is group or corporate fasting. Both fasting are supposed to be secret because it is a relationship between you and God. The corporate fasting people may know that this group or this church is fasting but it is no person’s business if you are involved or not, you will only make yourself available for the programme the church has put in place for the period of the fasting.

Some people may want to destroy your fasting by offering you soft drinks or biscuits, just politely tell them that you have eaten because your morning devotion is also food but spiritual food.

The Bible said —“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew:4:4 (KJV)

“For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.” John:6:55 (KJV)

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” John:6:35 (KJV)

Fasting is a time that very difficult problems are tabled before God and you must have Jesus in your life and you must obey the rules so as to get good result at the end of the fasting.

The Bible said –“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7. Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8. Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.”  Isaiah:58:6-8 (KJV)

Brethren, fasting go beyond denying yourself food you need to live a righteous life and to exhibit the qualities of a child of God. God shall surely bless you as you obey his word. Read your Bible and pray always, please show love to the need and the poor always. Pay your tithe in your local church. Please let Jesus be in your life continually.

REPENT OR PERISH

SALVATION FROM JESUS

The Bible said –“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” John:20:17 (KJV)

Jesus Christ is now at the right hand of God in heaven and we are expecting his second coming. Jesus Christ said God is our Father and God is our God. Those who live a Holy and Righteous life will be in heaven with Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

The Bible said –“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John:14:3 (KJV)

The Kingdom of heaven is for you and I because God has packaged the Kingdom for us to inherit and enjoy it though our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Bible said –“And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.” Matthew:25:2. (KJV)

“Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.” Exodus:32:26 (KJV)

Please beloved in Christ, where do you belong? Are you on the Lord side or with the Devil? Are you foolish or wise?  Please remember that unrighteousness, sinful life and wickedness will lead you to Hell Fire or Lake of Fire which is meant for the devil and his angels. ISRAEL — GETHSEMANE PRAYER RETREAT IN JERUSALEM — 12th – 18th December 2016. (Please the Gethsemane prayer retreat is a time the children of God all over the world should come together in the Holy Land, Jerusalem and hand over their family, the Nation,  their Continent and the World to God and the Son Jesus Christ for Devine Mercy. Please it is a command from God.)

The Bible said–“And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.” Zecharia 14:17 (KJV)

Please note that the Gethsemane prayer retreat is free in the Holy Land, Jerusalem but you have to pay the Administrative Charges of US Dollar $250 to enable your name appear in the manifest for your admission and entry into the country because we have to issue a letter of participation to enable you obtain Visa for your trip to Jerusalem Israel. Please make your payment early to facilitate the arrangement and your participation in the Gethsemane Prayer Retreat.

The bible said –“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew:1:21 (KJV)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans:5:8 (KJV)

Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. Jesus Christ died and rose again for our sake, that we should live together with him. Dearly beloved, the work of salvation was finished on the cross of Calvary by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The life which we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us, and gave himself for us.

The Kingdom of God is prepared for us from the foundation of the world. After the temptation of Jesus Christ, He began His ministry with the message of repentance.

The Bible said –“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew:4:17 (KJV)

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. 15. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark:1:14-15 (KJV)

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans:14:17 (KJV)

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation:20:15 (KJV)

The Bible said –“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” 1st Corinthians:3:16-17 (KJV)

Jesus Christ used a lot of wonderful stories which are called parables to describe the Kingdom of God, for us to know the importance of the Kingdom and to be eager to inherit the Kingdom of heaven that is prepared for us from the foundation of the world. The Kingdom is our birthright and the devil is not supposed to take it away from us as genuine children of God that are born of the water and of the Spirit. Please let us look at one of those parables from the book of Matthew chapter 13 from verse 47 to verse 50.

The bible said–“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind. 48. Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just. 50. And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:47-50 (KJV)

The parable of the net is telling us that — There is heaven and there is hell fire. They are real and they exist, so do not be decieved.

The Bible said –“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” Matthew:25:34 (KJV)

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Matthew:25:41 (KJV)

The Kingdom of God is for those who live their life according to the will of God. Those who have the virtues of Jesus Christ.

The Bible said —“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians:5:22-23 (KJV)

The Kingdom of darkness Hell fire is for those who live a sinful life. Those who carryout evil activities. Those with unrighteous life. Those who live their life according to the flesh.

The Bible said–“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans:1:29-32 (KJV)

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians:5:19-21 (KJV)

All unrighteousness is sin before God. Our Heavenly Father does not compromise with a sinner, every soul that commit sin shall surely die and go to hell and enjoy everlasting punishment.

God is very patient with us because He does not want anyone to perish, but that all should come to repentance. Please my beloved brethren if you are still living in sin this is the opportunity you have now to come to Jesus Christ, because JESUS is knocking at the door of your heart. Please open for Jesus to come in — He will dine with you and you with Him.

Jesus is the way, Jesus is the truth, Jesus is the life. Amen. And no one comes to the the Father except through Jesus Christ. Please repent now for the judge is at the door. Drop your sinful life, every wickedness, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour today as this message of salvation has touched your life.

The Bible said –“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1st John:1:9-10 (KJV)

Please if you don’t have Jesus Christ in your life. If you are not a genuine born again child of God. Please pray this prayer of salvation along with me.

PRAYER== “Righteous Father, I thank you for today that you have made, I will be glad and rejoice in it. Holy Father, I thank you for your message of salvation that has touched my life. God I am a miserable sinner but today that I have heard your word I have decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Faithful Father wash away my sins now with the precious blood of Jesus Christ and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. God I thank you for washing away my sins with the blood of Jesus Christ. God I thank you for saving my life. God I thank you for the new life you have given me and I beg you Righteous Father to give me power to sustain this new life you have given me and to make heaven at last. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.”
