ANGER

Anger is a very dangerous emotion that is not supposed to live with us in any way. Anger is a great sin and it violates God’s command to love. I would like us to know what Christ says in His words about anger. Please first read these scriptures: Matthew 5:21-26, 1^st John 3:15, Galatians 5:21.

The bible said—“But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.” Colossians 3:8 (KJV)

“But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.” 1^st Peter 4:15 (KJV)

“For this, Thou shall not commit adultery, Thou shall not kill, Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not bear false witness, Thou shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.” Romans 3:9 (KJV)

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. 20. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” James 1:19-20 (KJV)

“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” 1^st John 3:15 (KJV)

“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.” Psalm 37:8 (KJV)

“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty: and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” Proverbs 16:32 (KJV)

“A man’s wisdom gives him patience; It is to his glory to over look an offence.” 19:11 (NIV)

“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:9 (KJV)

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18 (KJV)

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” Ephesians 4:26 (KJV)

Anger itself is the real sin, the sin that breaks the law of God.

Anger is: –

• Bitterness and enmity
• Indignation and wrath
• Striking out against a person
• A hatred of oneself
• Slandering and destroying a person’s image (who is created in the image of God)
• Rage and fury
• An uncontrolled spirit
• Desiring to hurt people at all times
• Envying and killing people’s happiness

Anger keeps us from developing a spirit pleasing to God. Have you ever been proud that you didn’t strike out and say what is really on your mind that could hurt a person? Self control is good, but Jesus Christ want us to practice thought control as well. Jesus said that we will be held accountable even for our attitudes.

Anger is a sin and the devil is very much aware of that. Anger is a very strong weapon that the devil is using to cause unhappiness in the life of the children of God.

This uncontrollable emotion has destroyed husband and wife relationship. Best friends have fallen apart because of anger. So many families are fallen apart because of anger and some couples are living separately because of anger and the devil has used it to increase the rate of divorce in our contemporary society. So many pastors have fallen apart because of anger, even believers are not left out. So many people have committed suicide just like Judas Iscariot hanged himself because of anger.

Please it is very easy to deal with the issue of anger, you just say to yourself. How did I get salvation? I came to Jesus just as I was, and I trusted Him to save. I must kill my angry temper in the same way? It is the only way I can ever kill it. I must go to the cross with it, and say to Jesus, “Lord, I trust Thee to deliver me from it.” Amen. Please this is the only way to give it a death-blow. Brethren, there is no sin that cannot be destroyed with the power of Jesus because our Lord Jesus came to save us from our sins.

Our relationship with God depends on our relationship with others, so a broken relationship with other people will definitely affect our sweet relationship with our Heavenly Father and the son Jesus Christ hence Jesus said in His word that, “when you stand praying. If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” See Mark 11:25. So for us to be in the good book of God we must possess the spirit of forgiveness in our life to enable us have access to God by Christ Jesus for good health, good success and victory and prosperity in every aspect.

The bible said—“And when you stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Mark 11:25-26 (KJV)

“Take heed to yourselves: If thy brothers trespass against thee, rebuke him: and if he repent, forgive him. 4. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shall forgive him.” Luke 17:3-4 (KJV)

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13. Bear with each another and forgive whatever grievance you may have against one another: forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:12-14 (NIV)

For us to be free from bitterness, wrath, anger and others we really need to have Jesus in our life. It is through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that we can achieve perfect reconciliation which is based on the love of Christ. God wants us to worship Him and our worship will not b accepted by Him if we do not reconcile with our brother or any another persons. Jesus Christ has given us victory on the cross. Jesus Christ have nailed all these satanic vices to the cross and for us to achieve victory we need to have Jesus in our life.

Please I have a short story for you, ‘A woman that was married to a wayward husband, when the husband will come home late at night after having goodtime with other women and sleep ignoring her but she was every night married to Jesus. She will read her bible, She will pray and worship God every night until her husband came to his senses. Glory be to God.’

Yours may be: –

• A husband that beats you every time.
• A husband that does not want to see you with the Holy bible.
• A husband that loves you and provides everything in the house but no children after many years of marriage.
• A wife that is quarrelsome or immoral and wayward
• A son or a daughter that is a drug addict.
• A friend that has betrayed you.
• A father or mother that has defiled you.
• A father or mother that was not there when you needed parental care.
• Your late husband relations who threw you and the children out of the house.

It is only Jesus that can give us a perfect heart and empower us to be able to forgive and reconcile with those who have hurt us so that our relationship with God will be reconciled and our worship will be acceptable to God. Please you really need to have Jesus in your life for you to be able to sustain your relationship with God.

Therefore, study and meditate on the word of God day and night, and pray without ceasing. Please invest your money on evangelism and save a soul from death. Pay your tithe in your local church and help the poor and the needy always and God Almighty shall surely bless you and give you a heart of forgiveness and reconciliation at all times through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

FORGIVENESS

The bible said—“Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Mark 11:24-26 (KJV)

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

 

Forgiveness is the foundation of prayer. And forgiveness has two ways; the first is from God to Man while the next is from Man to Man. And if you don’t amend your relationship with someone who have hurt you or even poisoned you and you survived it hence you will not receive blessing from God our heavenly Father. So if there is sin in the life of a Christian it affects the relationship with the heavenly Father.

 

Forgiveness or total restoration to our sweet fellowship with our heavenly Father will only be accomplished through total confession and genuine repentance from our sins.

 

The bible said—“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1^st John 1:9-10 (KJV).

 

Sin is Sin no matter how small they may be so for us to receive answer to our prayer we must first of all deal with the issue of sin in our life. If you don’t do that you are just wasting you time because the prayer of a sinner does not attract the attention of God at all.

 

During my Hospital visitation and ministration at Federal Medical Center, Owerri, Imo State in Nigeria. After my ministration and prayers an elderly man called me to his bedside and said to me that the Doctor said they are going to cut one of his legs because of evil disease which came through evil arrow from a man I know very well. Please Pastor how can I forgive a man that afflicted me with this evil disease that will lead to the cutting of my leg.

 

I said to him, Daddy, please this affliction is not from man but from the devil and it is only Jesus Christ that can destroy the works of the devil. So you need to allow Jesus Christ to come into your life through genuine forgiveness before you can receive healing from Him. God kept them from cutting your leg until now because God wants you to hear this message of forgiveness and amend your ways to enable Jesus Christ to destroy the works of the devil in your life. Remember your body is the temple of God and the Holy Spirit is dwelling in you. The Spirit of the living God will not allow them to cut you leg if you give your life genuinely to Christ.

 

In the 1980s, I used to read a magazine -READERS DIGEST- an international magazine that comes into Nigeria. In one of the articles, it says—“Seventy five percent of prison inmates in America is as a result of Single Parent,”

Please Brethren as a Minster of God I tell you the truth this comment or fact from the magazine –Readers Digest- is not only referring to America but the whole world. This problem is affecting the whole universe and the root cause is from broken Homes and the foundation is unforgiveness in Man.

• Divorce and divorce suits in the law court today are from unforgiveness.
• Sickness and evil disease, in fact every afflictions in our body are striving because of unforgiveness.
• We lack good success and prosperity because of unforgiveness in our hearts.

The unforgiving spirit is a very dangerous tool the devil is using to destroy the joy of the children of God all over the world and that is why Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins. JESUS, The Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the whole world. Amen.

 

The bible said—“Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.” Psalm 25:18 (KJV)

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3 (KJV)

Jesus Christ said—“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25 (KJV)

 

Please remove that man or woman from your heart so that the Holy Spirit can come in and dwell in your body to enable Jesus Christ to destroy the works of the devil in your life and give you everlasting Joy. Amen.

 

The bible said—“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8 (KJV)

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1^st Peter 1:22-23 (KJV).

“So watch yourselves, if your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, I repent, forgive him.” Luke 17:3-4 (NIV).

“Now we know that God hereth not sinners: but if any man be a worshiper of God, and doeth His will, him He heareth.” John 9:31 (KJV).

 

Please forgive and you shall be forgiven and God our heavenly Father and the Son Jesus Christ shall surely bless you and give you everlasting life. Amen.

 

Please pray this prayer— In the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus. Righteous Father, look upon mine affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins. Holy Father give me the grace to forgive those who have wronged me in every aspect. Lord Jesus let your light eliminate my heart so that darkness will disappear and the works of the devil will be destroyed in my life and my Joy restored. God and my Lord Jesus Christ I thank you for setting me free, and am free indeed. In Jesus name. Amen.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE LRD

 

HEALING OF THE CRIPPLED WOMAN

The crippled woman had the spirit of infirmity for eighteen years and was bowed together and could in no wise lift up herself. This woman was always in the synagogue worshipping God. And it was her habit to worship and to seek the face of God in looking after her life. This woman was where she is supposed to be: worshipping God and expecting a special touch from God which she does not know when and how it will come. Dearly beloved in Christ, Synagogue is a church and most Christians today go to church everyday to worship God but very unfortunate their problems still remain with them just because they praise God with their mouth and worship Him with their lips while their heart is far away from God. But this crippled woman was sincere, ever so sincere in seeking God and His care from the Heart. Please read Luke 13:10-17

The bible said—“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall thou serve.” Matthew 4:10 (KJV)

“God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 (KJV)

“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.” 1^st Chronicles 16:29 (KJV)

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23:6 (KJV)

“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” 27:4 (KJV)

“My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.” 84:2 (KJV)

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10 (KJV)

The crippled woman was held by the spirit of infirmity for eighteen years and on that faithful day she was in the sanctuary worshipping God and the Great Healer was there. Jesus did not ask her what she want Him to do for her. Infact, our Lord Jesus Christ did not ask her any question because He saw her heart that she was sincere and faithful to God in her worship in the sanctuary of God even with the pains and affliction in her life which to most people because of fear would rather want to be in the hospital than to be in the house of God. And she was immediately healed by Jesus Christ. Amen. Please read 2^nd Timothy 1:7

The bible said—“And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her, woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” Luke 13:12 (KJV)

What is that problem that is troubling you? That has given you sleepless night one year or five years or ten years even more than fifty years. The solution for the problem is Jesus Christ. No matter how long that problem has stayed, it is Jesus Christ that can take it away immediately and restore you joy once again but you have to be sincere and faith to God in your worship.

The bible said—“Now the Lord is that spirit: and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.” 2^nd Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)

Most people are suffering today because they are not actually worshipping God instead jumping from one prayer house to another or looking for powerful pastor or the best doctor and best hospital seeking for help where there is no help. The crippled woman was always in the sanctuary worshipping God sincerely from the heart to activate the spirit of the living God inside her so as to create enabling environment for miracle to take place in her life.

The bible said—“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find: knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10. For every one that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth: and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Luke 11:9-10 (KJV)

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35 (KJV)

“Cast all you care upon Him; for He careth for you.” 1^st Peter 5:7 (KJV)

“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children.” Psalm 103:17 (KJV)

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, sayings, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:17 (KJV)

The woman with the spirit of infirmity for eighteen year was seen and called by Jesus hence the woman’s faithfulness in the worship of God, despite her deformity and pains, attracted Jesus Christ. The woman did not ask Jesus for help but Jesus called her because He saw in her heart the great sacrifice she made to worship the living God. God is always looking into our heart to see the commitment and how sincere we are in worshipping our God in every aspect.

What is that that will attract Jesus into your life to take away that affliction and reproach that has caused you pain over the years?

• Are you faithful in paying your tithe?
• Do you help the poor and the needy always?
• Do you read your bible regularly and pray always?
• Do you invest your money or substance on evangelism, soulwinning?
• Are you very active in your church and in weekly activities of the church?
• Are you sincere and faithful in your business activities?
• Do you have genuine love in your heart for others?

The bible said—“And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” Luke 13:14 (KJV)

The ruler of the synagogue was against the healing of the crippled woman because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day. The synagogue was made up of faithful and fake worshippers of God. And Jesus identified the crippled woman in their midst and healed her immediately because she worshiped God with a true and perfect heart.

Jesus Christ is the head and owner of the Church and He is always there looking for genuine worshipers of God to bless them. If your worship is in truth and with a perfect heart Jesus will visit you and take away your reproach and give you everlasting joy. But if you put your trust and hope in those fake pastors and elders of the church then your problem will remain with you. Brethren your joy and happiness depends on you so you need to work hard to have good success, good health and prosperity in life.

The bible said—“I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.” 2^nd Kings 20:3 (KJV)

“And Solomon said, Thou hast shown unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee, and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.” 1^st Kings 3:6 (KJV)

Worshipping God demands your total submission to God which means Jesus must be in your life completely before you can experience everlasting joy in your life.

The bible said—“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” 1^st Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV)

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Christ Jesus,” 1^st Peter 2:5 (KJV)

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15 (KJV)

“Take words with you and return to the Lord, say to Him forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.” Hosea 14:2 (NIV)

You will not expect God to visit you when you are still living in sin. You must give up your sinful life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and to worship God with a pure and perfect heart before Jesus will come and wipe away your tears and give you everlasting joy. Amen.

The bible said—“For His anger endureth but a moment: in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 (KJV)

Please pray this prayer— In the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus. Righteous Father, look upon mine affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins. Holy Father give me the grace to forgive those who have wronged me in every aspect. Lord Jesus let your light eliminate my heart so that darkness will disappear and the works of the devil will be destroyed in my life and my Joy restored.  O Lord, God you have saved me and am saved and you have healed me and am healed. God and my Lord Jesus Christ I thank you for setting me free, and am free indeed. In Jesus name. Amen.

THE CROSS

The bible said—“Then saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death, tarry ye here, and watch with me.” Matthew 26:38 (KJV)

“Now is my soul troubled: and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.” John 12:27 (KJV)

“But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how am I straitened till it be accomplished.” Luke 12:50 (KJV)

The Cross. The Crucifix means different things to different people but to Christians, the followers of Christ Jesus it is the Cross of Christ which is regarded as the spiritual identification with the death of Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of Sin might be destroyed. that henceforth we should not serve sin.” Romans 6:6 (KJV)

LOVE

The scripture said, “Who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20. Jesus Christ went to the Cross and was obedient unto death because of the love He has for us. Jesus expects us that love Him to do likewise to our neighbour so as to express the love of Christ in us.

The bible said—“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. 36. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36 (KJV)

Please my brethren, A Missionary came to Africa and visited a Leprosy camp —The Missionary embraced a leper and the leper cried and wept on his shoulder. When they inquired why the leper was weeping greatly, He said, “I have never been embraced since I was afflicted with leprosy.” The Leper.

The leper saw it as a thing of Joy to be embraced and loved by somebody which caused the tears of joy to roll down from his eyes.

In the Ebola hit Nations so many health workers from all over the world are working hard day and night to save lives at the detriment of their life.

The bible said—“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 (KJV)

DEATH

 The bible said—“In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The Prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, ‘This is what the Lord says, put your house in order, because you are going to die, you will not recover. 2. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord. 3. Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with a wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah wept bitterly.” 2^nd Kings 20:1-3 (NIV)

The bible said again—“But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:20-21 (KJV)

The news of death is always terrifying and nobody takes it lightly. Anyone who gets the report or news that Mr Death is knocking at the door to take his or her life away will work hard to save his or her life. Beloved brethren, in fact it is only a fool that takes things for granted.

The devil has the power of death and that is his primary assignment, so the devil does not have a friend, he is ready to kill and destroy at any time those who do not have the power of Jesus Christ in them and the good news is that Jesus has destroy the devil and his power through His death on the cross for you to have life and the bible said—“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 (KJV)

• Jesus went to the cross so as to deliver and save you from your sins.
• Jesus made his precious blood available for you because of His love for you.
• Jesus laid down his life so that you can live.

The bible said—“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in Him.” 1^st John 3:16-17 (KJV)

“Forasmuch then as the children are partaker of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the Devil. 15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV)

Conclusion

Jesus had completed all that was necessary in order to accomplish the plan of Redemption. Jesus voluntarily gave up the spirit. He voluntarily gave up His life. It was not taken from Him. He did not die as others on the cross. After all things were accomplished, and the plan of redemption carried out then there was no need to prolong the event of the cross. Therefore, He surrendered His spirit to the Father.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ for the sins of mankind was in the plan of God for the redemption of all men.

• Jesus must go to the cross.
• Jesus must die on the cross.
• Jesus must be buried.
• Jesus must rise again.

God started it and God finished it. Amen.

JESUS said—“It Is Finished.” John 19:30. Please read John 17:4 Our own God has anointed you with fresh oil for prosperity, good health, good success and victory in every aspect of life through the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary. Amen.

The bible said—“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:5-6 (KJV)

My beloved brethren, please repent now and come to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Amen.

Please read your bible and pray always. Please show love to the needy and the poor always. Pay your tithe in your local church. Let Jesus be in your life continually.
