Beloved please this is a very important issue and very controversial because most people believe that the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ is a free service while in this Matthew 10:1-16 which is the instructions given by Christ Jesus to the disciples before sending them out for evangelism is very clear in all the pages of the Bible and this gospel message will be explained with plenty scriptures to help us live a righteous life and inherit eternal life at the end. Please the bible said a workman is worthy of his meat. Meat is food! Meat is money! Meat is material things!

The bible said—“Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 14. Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.” 1st Corinthians:9:13-14

“He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.” Matthew:10:41

Beloved please those who minister spiritual things are worthy of physical things. The preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost must be paid or rewarded by God through the friends of Jesus Christ. Please this has always been the principle among God’s people for the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.” Luke:10:7

“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” 1st Timothy:5:17-18

The bible said—“Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.” 2nd Chronicles:31:4

Beloved brethren please who do not support those who teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ are not obeying the will of God in this matter. Well, the truth is that giving offering to God for the teaching and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ has a lot to do with love because only those who have love for God gives for the work of Jesus Christ. Please evangelical work or missionary work is supposed to be rewarded accordingly for the Minister of God to be very active and effective in the work of Jesus Christ so as to save souls from death. Please note that within this period of Corona Virus Pandemic very serious ministers of God with well equipped library are very busy in their library preparing gospel messages and prayers and healing scriptures and sending them out through Mass evangelism via Radio and Television and Social media while some are ministering in the Street and in the busses and in the market places to save souls from death and all these involve money.

The bible said—“Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, 4. Have we not power to eat and to drink?” 1st Corinthians:9:3-4

Beloved friend please the easy and fastest means to unlock the door and windows of heaven for abundant blessing from God is through the obedience to the command of God to give for the work of Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke:6:38

“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverbs:11:25
