MAKE THEE A MINISTER AND A WITNESS

Beloved in Christ, God bless you and your family.

The bible said—“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;” Acts:26:16

Beloved please Apostle Paul was telling his audience, King Agrinppa and others about his ordination as a minister and a witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of Jesus Christ. Please it is Jesus that ordained and anointed Apostle Paul by Himself for the work of the Kingdom and very important we should remember that Apostle Paul who was called Saul was persecuting the disciples of Jesus Christ which led to his divine arrest and was immediately ordained a minister and a witness by Christ Jesus. Amen. Please note that anyone persecuting Christians is persecuting Christ Himself and Jesus Christ will fight His battle because Jesus is always with us as we preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew:28:19-20

Beloved please Jesus Christ has ordained and established all Christians for the work of God before leaving us through His last words to the disciples. Please we are to go — whether it is next door or another country and to make disciples. In fact, it is not an option, but a command to all who call JESUS, “Lord”. We are not all evangelist in the formal sense, but we have all received gifts that we can use to help fulfill the great commission. As we obey, we have comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is always with us.

Beloved please Jesus words affirms the reality of the Trinity, as we see here, the concept comes directly from Jesus Himself. He did not say baptize them into the names, but into the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Please the word Trinity does not occur in the bible just like the trouser for women and Courtship and Christmas are not written in the bible, but the Trinity well describes the three-in-one nature of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Please we acknowledge and obey the Trinity and also observe courtship which is church doctrine while most people disobey the scripture Deuteronomy 22:5 which is the word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.” Deuteronomy:22:5

Beloved the disciples were to baptize people because baptism unites a believer to Jesus Christ in his or her death to sin and resurrection to new life. Please baptism symbolizes submission to Christ, a willingness to live God’s way, and identification with God’s covenant people.

The bible said—“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.” Galatians:1:15-19

Beloved Jesus Christ worked with His twelve disciples for the three years of his ministry on earth but Apostle Paul was ordained and established by Jesus through divine encounter with Christ Jesus. Please note that at the center of this wonderful experience was Jesus Christ, thus Paul did not see a vision but he saw the risen Christ Himself. See Acts 9:17-18 = Please Apostle Paul acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord, confessed his sins, surrendered his life to Christ and resolved to obey Christ. Please true conversion comes from personal encounter with Jesus Christ and leads to a new life in relationship with Christ Jesus. Whereof as Christians and as ministers of God we need to have absolute and very complete relationship with Christ for us to have the best Christian life and succeed as Ministers of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. And if we are faithful in carrying out the Great Commission then we will have a crown of righteousness and eternal life at the end through the power of Jesus Christ.

The bible said—“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark:16:15-20

“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2nd Timothy:4:5-8
