Jesus In My Life = What Has He Done

                WHAT HAS HE DONE?

      = www.molevministries.org = 26th October 2020 =

Beloved in Christ, God bless you and your family.

The bible said—“And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said unto him, Wherefore shall he be slain? what hath he done?” 1st Samuel:20:32

Beloved please every father would want his son to succeed him. And every father would want his son to be greater than him and thus King Saul of Israel was trying to secure his throne for his future generation even though he had already been told his dynasty would end with him.

The bible said—“And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.” 1st Samuel:13:13-14

Beloved please King Saul of Israel was determined to kill David because of selfish reason and interest and he was trying to do this by sinful human means because he knew he would get no help from God for the scripture says, “Thou shall not kill” Exodus 20:13 = Please evil thought goes through everybody’s mind hence Jonathan the son of King Saul of Israel could have made the move to become the next King of Israel by killing his rival, the young man David, but he bypassed this opportunity because of his love for God and for David. Agape love! Unconditional love!

The bible said—“And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.” 1st Samuel:23:16-18

Beloved Please Jonathan was from the palace and from wealthy home while David was from a very poor home but Jonathan was not interested at the family background of David instead Jonathan loved David as his own soul.

The bible said—“Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.” 1st Samuel:18:3-4

Beloved when David and Jonathan met, they became close friends at once. Their friendship is one of the deepest and closest recorded in the bible: 1. They based their friendship on commitment to God, and not just each other. 2. They let nothing come between them, not even career or family problems. 3. They drew closer together when their friendship was tasted, 4. They remained best friends to the end. = Please our love in friendship and relationship is supposed to be very strong and unshakable irrespective of the circumference around us because God is love and God expects us to love unconditionally. Please Jonathan, the prince of Israel, later realized that David, and not he, would be the next King. See 1st Samuel 23:17. But that did not weaken his love for David. Jonathan would much rather lose the throne of Israel than lose his closest friend whom he loved as his own soul.

The bible said—“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1st John:4:16-17

Beloved the LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace and prosperity by Christ Jesus. In Jesus name. Amen.

The bible said—“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John:14:6. Please repent now and come to Jesus Christ and accept Christ as Lord and Saviour. And God shall bless you exceedingly. God loves you. Jesus! = Evangelist Oliver U.
