The bible said—“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” Psalm:92:12-15

Beloved please I want us to know that palm tree prosper and live long while the cedar is strength to endure, so these are for the old and for the young in the house of the Lord God Almighty.

The bible said—“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalm:122:1

Beloved please palm trees are known for their long life so to flourish like the palm tree means to stand tall and to live long. The cedars of Lebanon grew to 120 feet in height and 30 feet in circumference; thus, they were solid, strong and immovable. Please the psalmist saw believers as upright, strong and unmoved by the winds of circumstance. Please those who place their faith firmly in God can have this strength and vitality.

The bible said—“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel:11:32

Beloved please honouring God is not limited to young people who seem to have unlimited strength and energy. Even in old age, devoted believers can produce spiritual fruit. There are many faithful older people who continue to teach us from a lifetime experience of serving God, so I advice you seek out an elderly friend or relatives to tell you about his or her experience with the Lord and challenge you to new heights of spiritual growth but you must read the word of God, study the word of God, meditate on the word of God and obey the word of God for your spiritual empowerment to bear fruit. Please What is Bear fruit?

The bible said—“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Proverbs:11:30

Beloved please evangelism is the core or the backbone of our Christian faith hence for you as the righteous to be fat and flourish in the courts of our God, you must be very active in evangelism or soulwinning which is the great commission given to us by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Please every Christian must be involved in evangelism or soulwinning either physically in the field or through your resources to win souls for Christ.

The bible said—“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew:28:19-20

The bible said—“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark:16:15-20

The bible said—“What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Luke:15:4-7
