Beloved Calvary greetings to you and your family.
The bible said—“Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3. And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?” Matthew:11:2-3. Please read Matthew 11:1-6.
Beloved it is important that we should know the love of Christ Jesus to us the children of God.
1. He gave sight to the blind. = The blind saw physically and spiritually. They not only knew the truth of the world but of God as well.
2. He made the lame to walk. = He caused men to walk physically and spiritually. They moved strongly about, serving both God and man.
3. He cleansed the lepers. = He made them pure physically and spiritually. They were accepted both by men and God. See Matthew 8:1-4
4. He opened the ears of the deaf. = He caused the deaf to hear physically and spiritually. They could hear both the voice of men and of God.
5. He raised the dead to life. = They were given life again physically and spiritually. Whereas they had been dead they now walked as new creatures before men and God.
6. He preached the gospel to the poor. = They who had been so neglected and possessed so little were now receiving good news of Salvation from God Himself.
The bible said—“But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.” John:5:36
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John:9:4
“But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.” John:10:38
“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:” Acts:2:22
Beloved Jesus Christ did not just profess to be the Messiah, He proved it by ministering to the people in the power of God. Jesus Christ showed that God has sent Him to demonstrate that God is Sovereign. He is above and beyond all, and He has the power to over-ride the laws of nature. That God loves man and has provided a way for man to be saved and to live for ever.
Beloved every time Jesus Christ ministered and healed a person, He demonstrated two things which are the sovereign power and the great love of God.
Beloved John the Baptist was put in prison for not committing a crime but for telling the truth. John the Baptist was sent by God for an assignment he must accomplish on earth.
The bible said—“He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.” John:1:23
“For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.” Matthew:3:3
Beloved Joseph the Son of Jacob was put in prison in Egypt by Potiphar and the wife for a crime he did not commit but because he refused to commit a great sin before God. Please Joseph was sent to Egypt by God for a particular purpose he must accomplish in Egypt for Israel and for mankind.
The Bible Said—“And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.” Genesis:45:7-8
“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10. And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts:7:9-10
Beloved please Prison is prison no matter how comfortable it is and prison is very dangerous and a wicked place to be and it is not meant for normal human beings so every person that is put in prison for a crime he did not commit must react positively because of freedom to live good life and to achieve his God given purpose on earth.
The bible said—“But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and show kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: ?15. For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.” Genesis:40:14-15
Beloved Please see how Joseph the Son of Jacob reacted to his being in prison for his righteousness and faithfulness to God, so let us see now through the scriptures the reaction of John the Baptist.
The bible said—“And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?” Matthew:11:3
Beloved John the Baptist said—“Do we look for another” Matthew 11:3 Please the reaction of John the Baptist was right because every normal person would react the same way for being in prison for a crime he or she did not commit but the reaction of John the Baptist was with doubt and also questioning the authority and power of Jesus Christ the Son of the living God even when he was fully aware of the good works of Jesus Christ.
The bible said—“Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5. The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.” Matthew:11:4-6
The good works of Jesus Christ. The love of Christ to mankind. That is total Restoration of our joy, our everlasting joy because so many people are in great affliction and pain and are languishing in satanic prison which are prison yard and the hospital that the devil is using to hold people in bondage with terminal disease and sickness like Cancer and HIV/AIDS etc which sometimes leads to death of those who are offended in Jesus Christ and do not believe in the authority and power of Jesus Christ.
The bible said—“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew:4:4
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John:1:12
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John:14:6
Beloved God has shown us great love by given us His only Son Jesus Christ for our salvation and redemption and Jesus Christ has shown us His great love through His blood shed on the cross of Calvary for our victory and total Restoration and great deliverance from the bondage of the enemy and has destroyed the works of the devil which is Satan.
The bible said—“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1st John:3:8
Beloved please in every circumstance and in every situation in life always look up to Jesus Christ because Jesus is our Lord and our Saviour. Please turn to Jesus Christ today and your joy will be full. Please Read your Bible and pray always because they are your source of strength and your access to God and the Son Jesus Christ. Please Remember life is a serious business and not for a lazy man.
The bible said—“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James:5:16
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah:55:11
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews:11:6
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews:12:2
Beloved please this is the opportunity you have now to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and your Saviour.
The bible said—“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1st John:1:8-10
Please if you don’t have Jesus Christ in your life. If you are not a genuine born again child of God. Please pray this prayer of salvation along with me.
PRAYER== “Righteous Father, I thank you for today that you have made, I will be glad and rejoice in it. Holy Father, I thank you for your message of salvation that has touched my life. God I am a miserable sinner but today that I have heard your word I have decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Faithful Father wash away my sins now with the precious blood of Jesus Christ and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. God I thank you for washing away my sins with the blood of Jesus Christ. God I thank you for saving my life. God I thank you for the new life you have given me and I beg you Righteous Father to give me power to sustain this new life you have given me and to make heaven at last. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I have prayed. Amen.”

Please give sacrificially and unconditionally your special offering and seed of faith for the work of Jesus Christ so as to save souls from death and God shall surely bless you exceedingly for your labour of love and work of faith. For it is more blessed to give than to receive and God loves a cheerful giver.
