Beloved Please this is Mary’s song and it is often called the Magnficant. Please Mary’s song has often been used as the basis for Choral music and hymns. Like Hannah, the mother of Samuel. Please see 1st Samuel 2:1-10 = God was the subject of Mary’s song, so She was not praising herself but was only praising God just like Oliver Uzoma Onyeoziri is praising God for his diamond jubilee. Beloved please Mary glorified God in song for what God was going to do for the world through her. Notice that in both songs, God is pictured as a champion of the poor, oppressed, and despised. And thus that is how we are supposed to see our calling and gift to avoid pride and arrogance which is sin before God. Please when Mary said, “Behold, from henceforth all generation shall call me blessed.” Luke 1:48 = Was she being proud? No! She was recognizing and accepting the gift God has given her. Please always remember that we are all vessels and instruments in the hands of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Please if Mary had denied her incredible position, she would have been throwing God’s blessing back at Him. Please pride is refusing to accept God’s gifts or taking credit for what God has done; humility is accepting the gifts and using them to praise and serve God. Please don’t deny, belittle, or ignore your gifts but thank God for them and use them for His glory. Amen. Praise the Lord. Alleluia! Amen.
